The Reality We Face
Across our country, children who should be in classrooms are working in workshops, fields, roadside stalls, and homes. They carry burdens far too heavy for their years — losing their education, their health, and their childhood in the process. Child labour is often hidden in plain sight, driven by poverty and desperation, and it robs the youngest among us of the future they deserve.
Why It Matters
A childhood lost can never be returned. Children forced into labour miss out on education, grow up trapped in low-paying work, and often pass the same fate on to their own children. Ending child labour isn’t only about rescuing a child from work — it’s about restoring their right to grow, to learn, and to imagine a better life. It is one of the most important fights for a just and humane society.
What We Do
Our mission to eliminate child labour combines rescue, rehabilitation, and prevention:

- Supporting children’s transition from work back into education
- Family support and counselling to address the poverty that drives child labour
